About Hephanos Innovation

We built Hephanos.

After decades of helping companies grow through innovation — as consultants, operators, and builders — we built the system version of what we do. Same methods. Different unit economics.

Why we built this

We’ve spent decades helping companies grow through innovation. We know the processes, the methods, the skills, and how to apply them — because we’ve done the work ourselves, in consulting engagements with mid-market operators across industries.

At some point we asked ourselves a question: how do we take what we know and reach more companies than a calendar full of engagements ever can?

The answer was an AI-enabled innovation system. Take the value of decades of practice, encode it into a repeatable engine, blend it with AI-augmented research, and put it in front of the operators who need it. That wasn’t possible until recently. Today it is — and we built it.

Many of the methods inside Hephanos are methods we still use in our own engagements. We took what we know works and made it accessible — at a fraction of the time and cost of hiring a consultant.

What we keep seeing: most companies don’t realize they have an innovation discovery problem. They have growth ambitions, market pressure, and a board waiting for answers — but no system for thinking through what to pursue next. Hephanos gives them one.

Consulting-grade thinking,

built into an innovation system.

What’s next

Hephanos Innovation is just the beginning.

You can keep doing this work yourself. Many companies will. But as the world evolves, there are better approaches — and the gap between operators who use them and operators who don’t will widen.

We think we’re on to something that really helps companies. We’re excited about what Hephanos produces today. We’re more excited about what comes next: more modules, more methods, more depth, more reach. This is the first release of a system we’re building out to do more.

If you want to be part of how it gets shaped, the founding cohort is where that happens.

The name

Hephanos

heh-FAH-nos
Hephanos Innovation mark — anvil with hammer and sparks

Hephanos comes from Hephaestus — the Greek god of the forge and, in myth, the creator of the first intelligent machines. He didn’t fight the battles. He equipped the people who did.

That’s the work: equip operators with strategic clarity they can act on.

The mark predates the name. The hammer, anvil, and sparks were Hephaestus’s primary symbols — the rename made the logo more accurate, not less.

Help shape what’s next.

We’re recruiting the founding cohort. Each cohort member gets a discounted analysis in exchange for candid feedback — feedback that shapes Hephanos before list pricing locks in.

Standard rate is $750 per analysis. No subscription. No retainer.

If you’ve been stuck between doing this work yourself and hiring someone — that’s the gap we built for. Tell us what you’d want to know about your business and we’ll tell you straight whether we can answer it.
